This Vinyl LP was Produced by Vancouver's Claire Lawrence, of Chilliwack & Hometown Band fame, & Recorded at Pinewood Studios in Vancouver in 1982. This version of"When The Rivers Are Hot (1982)" is much more laid back and less political than the more famous 1980 version, yet very funky in it's own mid-80s way, even featuring a Prophet 5 synthesizer, the latest rage at the time. Check it out to hear the different bass line, by Brian ("Nuke") Newcomb, & very groovy percussion by Kat Hendrikse.
