- Bilingual Love | supercircuitman
Bilingual Love Entre Chien Et Loup The saying Entre Chien Et Loup, or Between Dog and Wolf, a metaphor for Between Day and Night, has a history in both French & English languages. Dusk, this song tells us, seems to be a lovely & appropriate time for Making Love with your Sweetie Entre Chien Et Loup 00:00 / 04:53 If you like this song, you can DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE HERE DOWNLOAD LYRICS VIDEO In the 1970's, a friend of Ross Campbell's operated David's Dulcimer Works in Alberta and gifted Ross with an Appalachian lap dulcimer, of the kind made famous by Joni Mitchell. (In fact, Joni once used Ross's dulcimer for a concert in Saskatoon when all her equipment was sidelined by a paralyzing prairie blizzard.) A traditional Appalachian dulcimer can play in only a very few keys, so Ross took his gift back to David to get a fourth string and 3 new frets added so that he can play it in minor keys and use extended jazz chords on it. That instrument, one of Ross's favourites, forms the musical foundation for this song. Ross added several Violin & Viola parts to flesh out the orchestration in verses two & three. Instead of a sweet little violin solo, Ross decided to add an edgy viola solo instead. Ross also performs on Guitar, and is provided with a subtle & effective Bottom End by Dale Ladouceur on Bass & Bill Hobson on Drums, both of Edmonton's Crowtown Productions, where the song was produced. If you REALLY like this song, please send Ross a couple of bucks to help fund his next album of Original Music, where your name will be included in the Credits, and you will become a Member of his TOP FAN CLUB! Well, there's only one answer: Not a damn thing! But even though we may feel powerless as individuals There are certain universal principles Which come to bear on scenes like this and give us hope For while a Bad Cop'll never feel remorse About illegal searches & the use of force We can just let Karma take it's course I'm talking about Karma, in it's own good time
